Jimmie Johnson
Jimmie on finishing second after getting passed by Kevin Harvick on the final lap:
"It's like kissing your sister, and I don't have a sister."


Ryan Newman
Ryan's second in the points while team owner Tony Stewart is sixth.
In this instance, it's OK to show up the boss.


Kyle Busch
OK, I watched the post-race interviews at Fontana.
Where is the real Kyle Busch and what did somebody do with him?


Kevin Harvick
Those last two laps, all I could think about was the theme from Jaws.
Da-dum. Da-dum. Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum ...


Tony Stewart
Almost everybody felt shortening the Fontana race from 500 to 400 miles was the right move.
Tony wouldn't have minded had it been more like 390.


Kurt Busch
Kurt's quote after finishing 17th at Fontana:
"We threw everything we could today at the track -- bars, air pressures, spring rubbers, you name it."
And he still couldn't get a debris caution.


Matt Kenseth
Jeff Gordon used the term "cheap shot" to describe Matt's bump on the last lap at Martinsville last spring. In Matt's opinion, if you can get Crown Royal half price at Happy Hour, a cheap shot is a good thing.


Paul Menard
I have a really low tolerance for dehydration: It was OK that Paul wanted to meet Molly Ringwald.
But following her around, quoting lines from The Breakfast Club was a little over the top.


Juan Montoya
Martinsville has been described as a drag race connected by two U-turns. For Juan, that pretty much describes trying to negotiate Biscayne Boulevard in Miami during tourist season.

Junior's two favorite things about Martinsville: Hot dogs and grandfather clocks.
He's had plenty of the first and wouldn't mind getting one of the second.


Mark Martin
Sunday will be Mark's 800th Cup start. That's eighth all-time, only nine behind
Darrell Waltrip, and look where all that going around in circles got ol' D.W.


Martin Truex Jr.
The track in southern Virginia has been anything but Martin's ville.
He's finished 28th or worse in three of his past four visits, although he was fifth last spring.


Jeff Gordon
Having lived in Indiana for some time, Jeff's rooting for the local team in the Final Four.
Of course, he also likes the idea of being able to say the "Butler did it."

Jeff Burton led all 300 laps in winning at Loudon in September 2000.
It was the first race since 1978 that a driver led every lap (Cale Yarborough, Nashville) and only the (6) sixth time in Cup Series history.

Kyle Busch took the lead with 33 laps to go in Saturday's "New England 200" NASCAR Nationwide Series race at NHMS and survived a late restart to capture the victory. The win was the 100th for Kyle in NASCAR's top 3 series and was his 49th Nationwide Series win, which ties Busch with Mark Martin for the all-time series lead.

Dylan Kwasniewski (#03) won for the second week in a row in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, by overtaking his teammate Greg Pursley (#26) on lap 52 of Saturday's "Toyota / TTC 150" at Montana Raceway Park. It was the 7th top-5 finish of the season in 10 starts for the 16 year-old rookie driver from Las Vegas.

Mike Stefanik returned to victory lane in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour for the first time since 2009 in Saturday's "Granite State Classic" at NHMS. Stefanik took the lead on lap 73 and held off Woody Pitkat by .069 second following a green-white-checker restart.

Our First Nascar race. What a great way to enjoy yourself but to be at a Bristol Race for the first time.


My favorite driver is Dale Jr. I met his dad in the fall of 1990 in Goodyear Arizona when he came into the pizza place I was working. Mr. Earnhardt talked about being in town for the races (which on race weeks we heard a lot), but then he started talking about his three kids who were around my age


Tony is the best we will see him again in Vegas 2012
