Scott Wimmer outran teammate Clint Bowyer to win the Pepsi 300 at the
Nashville Superspeedway and the special guitar trophy that comes with
winning this event. This is Wimmer's first trip to victory lane
driving for RCR (Richard Childress Racing).

Wimmer Plays a Victory Song in Music City
Kyle Busch's loss was Scott Wimmer's gain. Busch dominated Saturday's Pepsi 300 at Nashville Superspeedway but lost control of his No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota off Turn 4 after leading 125 of the first 162 laps. That handed the lead to Richard Childress Racing's Clint Bowyer, but RCR teammate Wimmer passed him for the lead with 20 laps to go to notch his first win in nearly five years. Wimmer is also the first non-NASCAR Sprint Cup driver to win a NASCAR Nationwide Series race this season and the first since Jason Leffler won at O'Reilly Raceway Park last July (2007).

Busch Claims Victory in the Valley of the Sun
Saturday night racing at its best! On a night when there was a
record set for the number of lead changes, it was only fitting that
the race would end in a green-white-checkered finish. Kyle Busch
outran Carl Edwards to win the Bashas' Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix
International Raceway from the pole position. The win is the 2`nd
in a row for Busch on the season and at Phoenix.
